In Stirling Council there are various Collective Bargaining forums. These forums  allow Unions to meet with management and negotiate on service or council wide issues. Service restructures, for instance, may be discussed in these forums.

There are two types of forum:

Bipartites - Managers meet with the relevant stewards and Branch officers

Tripartites - As above, but with councillors present.

It is often the case that detailed work is required to be carried out on a particular subject - in these instances, subgroups can be set up. These subgroups will report back to the Bipartites and Tripartites.
