How does the Branch work? PDF Print E-mail

UNISON is a member led Union.

The Stirling Council Branch is run by a committee which consists of members elected to take on different roles. Branches hold regular meetings, including an annual general meeting and regular Branch Executives. This is how people get elected to the branch committee and other UNISON structures.

Stewards and Branch Officers provide help and advice, represent members at disciplinary and grievance hearings, organise the Branch and participate in the various collective bargaining forums within the council.
